Summary
Inspector Ōtaki got a call from headquarter to investigate about a case relating vampire. He rushed to the scene without bringing Heiji and Kazuha. However, they managed to follow Ōtaki and ended up involved in the case investigation too. Heiji and Kazuha also bring Conan, Ran and Kogorō. The client is a butler of a mansion. He requested Ōtaki to investigate about a murder case where the victim was murdered, tied with a rope upside down and there were two pierces on her neck, which started a rumor about vampire attack. They stayed at the mansion until dinner. While enjoying dinner, the house mates requested Ran and Kazuha to call the landlord for dinner. Ran and Kazuha felt that they were going to be teased. They opened the door and saw a coffin where the landlord used to sleep. When they opened the coffin door, the landlord was seen stabbed with a dull wood on his chest. Ran and Kazuha was shocked and shouted. When Conan, Heiji and Inspector Ōtaki reached the scene, they found nobody in the coffin. This frightened Ran and Kazuha and thought they will be the target of a vampire. They rushed to the kitchen to find garlic but none found. Later on, the house mates were going to take a family picture. They requested Ran and Kazuha to snap the picture. However, when Ran was pressing the snap button, there was the landlord image on the mirror behind the house mates. They got shocked and screamed once again. After cleaning the negative, they found that there is a vampire image on the mirror in the picture.
